Stepping outside the traditional specialties of learning spaces and meeting rooms, the Concept AV team delved into a world of luxury and prestige with the completion of a full design and AV fit-out of the BMW Australia showroom in Canterbury.   Concept AV were provided a client brief with the main purpose of elevating the BMW experience to new heights. Taking on board BMW’s intended requirements, Concept AV’s design team developed a return brief for the client, establishing a 6-zone PA and Background Music System, and display solution that included a 3 x 3 55’’  Samsung LCD video wall.   The central location of the reception desk is the main point of control for the space. Utilising a 7’’ QSC touch panel, BMW staff can control the audio levels for each of the zones. A gooseneck microphone has been provided at the desk allowing announcements to be made across all the zones or to specific zones, simply by selecting the zone on the panel.   A single Sonos audio media player was installed in the rack allowing users to select music from their personal devices providing they are connected to the network and on the Sonos app. A charging bay housing two wireless Audio Technica Microphones...

Surfing is more than just a sport in Australia; it’s a quintessential part of the nation’s identity and Concept AV were thrilled to be involved in bringing the surf to the suburbs through the URBNSURF Sydney project. A truly state-of-the-art development, this premier surf park provides a world-class surfing experience with a wave pool that generates consistent, high-quality waves, making it a perfect spot for year-round surfing, regardless of ocean conditions. In addition to the surf, the park offers various amenities including a surf school, board rentals and spaces for events, making it a hub for both surfers and the wider community. With such a facility, a cutting-edge audio visual system that elevates the atmosphere for visitors was imperative.   The AV delivery of the URBNSURF Sydney project was audio centric with the entire park equipped with an IP-based PA system which covers both the indoor and outdoor areas, as well as a Background Music zoned system, pre-recorded announcement and event mode functionality.   This project required a unique approach and presented a number of considerations, particularly during the programming and commissioning phase.
