Community.

Charity.

Giving back to the community is one of the core principles of Concept AV. We have been a major supporter of a number of different charities and have participated in multiple events that raise awareness for various conditions including the MS Gong Ride.

Concept AV have invested in events that raise awareness and funding for cancer research. An institution we wholeheartedly support is the EnGeneIC Foundation, whose focus is challenging existing approaches to treating cancer. They aim to encourage the development of therapies that are tailored to the individual and not simply standardised across patients.

We are always on the look out for new opportunities to give back to the community.

In 2019, the Concept AV family tragically lost a valued member of the team to cancer. Chris Bowra was an individual with a wealth of knowledge and wisdom that he shared selflessly with many.

Aptly named after Chris Bowra, The CB Internship seeks to promote the AV industry as an engaging pathway for STEM students and champion the creation of AV industry careers. Through this paid part time internship program, participants will work closely with and be mentored by accredited and experienced Concept AV engineers. They are to learn the intricate functions of an audio-visual solution, with a primary focus on programming and systems testing. As recognised industry leaders in this field, Concept AV is pleased to provide students the opportunity to develop wide-ranging audio visual experience whilst they complete their degrees, contributing to the exceptional professional advancement and going beyond the established standard within the industry.

Concept AV is proudly partnered with Crestron for the CB Internship. Participants will work towards achieving their Crestron certifications and skill development in programming technologies, made free of charge specifically for the internship.

Indigenous Employment Opportunities

Concept AV is committed to developing a sustainable relationship with the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities. We have implemented a comprehensive employment strategy, which aims not only to open doors of opportunities to indigenous peoples but also to bridge the growing gap between different customs and practices that’s leading to cultural alienation.
